We’re  with ourselves 24/7 shouldn’t that be easy? If not here are…

5 things you can do

1.Spend some quality time doing a self introspection.

2.Make a date with yourself and do something out of your comfort zone…like eat alone at a nice restaurant…or enjoy a movie or a fun workshop.

3.Spend an hour in pure silence …meditate.

4.Look in the mirror…sMiLe and tell yourself 3 things you like about your company.

5.Take a weekend or longer trip with just YoU and your shadow and keep a journal of the experience.

Now go enjoy your company!

Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired!

There is a story that I heard many years ago from author and motivational speaking, Les Brown; who I was honored to meet and get a picture with back in 1995…

I was walking down the street and happened to see a man sitting on his porch. Next to the man was his dog who was whining and whimpering. I asked the man “What’s wrong with your dog” The man said “He’s laying on a nail”. I asked “Laying on a nail? Well why doesn’t he get up?” The man then replied “It’s not hurting bad enough”

I love this story! How often do we whine…whimper and complain about something but never do anything about it! A job you hate, bad relationships, depression, Incomplete goals?

Well I woke up this morning guilty of that myself! I was sick and tired of being sick and tired of complaining about a certain thing and jumped out of bed and decided that today was the day that I was going to get my butt off of that nail and create the change I needed to move forward!

This is a Great day! Counting  blessings and have an attitude of gratitude!

Are YoU sitting on a nail today? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired of not getting what you desire from life; just not bad enough to seek and implement the change you need to give you what you need and want to be happy?

You know the saying…

“Crazy is repeating the same thing and expecting a different result”  or  “Do nothing and you will be guaranteed to get nothing!”

Why not make this the day that YoU decide your tired of sitting on that rusty old nail…Ouch!

Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely.
